Unity3D Glacial Hydrology Simulation Prototype - University of Hertfordshire

A quick update regarding another project I'm currently working on. This is, again, for the University of Hertfordshire and is a learning object designed to act as an interactive visualisation of a location which, in real life, is difficult to access. The University sends students to Switzerland to get up close to glaciers in order to study the surrounding environment and ecosystems. The purpose of the application isn't to make those trips redundant but to provide an alternative means to traditional teaching methods wherein the idea of dynamic visualisation is non-existent. I'm working in conjunction with Dr Phil Porter who is a senior lecturer in Physical Geography.

Early days though you can get a taste of the flavour for things to come. I've included a youtube video for your viewing pleasure.

There's the possibility that I'll add in some multi-user functionality though the focus is more on displaying information as clearly as possible. We'll see how much screen space I have after the basic interface is up and running.
